Enhanced Capabilities
The upgraded robots can autonomously place up to 1,000 auto parts daily with remarkable precision, effectively handling intricate tasks such as inserting sheet metal into narrow slots.
Design and Integration
Standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, these AI-powered robots are designed to mimic human form, allowing seamless integration into existing manufacturing processes. They can operate continuously for up to five hours without recharging.
Collaborative Efforts
BMW's collaboration with Figure AI aims to alleviate human workers from repetitive and ergonomically challenging tasks, enhancing overall production efficiency.
